For websites

The website you already have, now one you can run.

LayerAdapt turns a website built by hand into one managed from simple screens. Every text, picture, list, menu, blog post and page setting becomes editable, and the design stays exactly as it is.

What becomes editable

Everything that is content. Nothing that is design.

The rule is simple: if it is something a business owner would want to change, LayerAdapt makes it editable. If it is how the website looks or works, it is left alone.

Texts

Headings, paragraphs, buttons, opening hours, addresses, phone numbers, footers and notices.

Pictures

Photos, logos and backgrounds, with their descriptions for search engines and screen readers.

Lists

Services, team, testimonials, prices, FAQs and galleries. Add, remove and reorder items.

Blog posts and detail pages

Articles and items with their own page, written from a form and laid out like the rest of your site.

Menus

Header and footer links, including drop-downs. Add a page and put it in the menu yourself.

New pages

Add pages that reuse the layouts your website already has, so they look like they always belonged.

Static to dynamic

Your website starts reading from a database.

On a static website, the words and pictures are typed into the code of each page. Changing them means changing the code.

On a dynamic website, the pages fetch their words and pictures from a database whenever someone opens them. Changing them means changing a row in a table.

LayerAdapt makes that switch for you. It creates the tables your website needs, fills them with what is on your pages today, and connects each page to them. Lists kept in PHP code, settings files or include files are handled too, without the settings file itself ever being edited.

A copy of your content is kept on your own hosting and refreshed automatically, so pages still open even if LayerAdapt cannot be reached for a moment.

Which websites work

Built by hand? It is what LayerAdapt was made for.

The websites that are hardest to edit are the ones LayerAdapt helps most.

  • HTML websites
  • PHP websites
  • PHP lists, arrays and include files
  • Bootstrap and other themes
  • Shared hosting with cPanel or FTP
  • Other kinds: we check yours first
Files that handle logins, payments, admin areas, settings and form sending are never edited, whatever kind of website you have.
SEO engine

Every page ready for Google, without learning SEO.

Each page gets its own search settings and a score that explains, in plain words, what to fix next.

  • Page titles and descriptions, read from your live pages first
  • Sharing previews for WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook and X
  • A sitemap and robots file, kept up to date for you
  • Picture descriptions and headings checked on every page
  • One title per page, never two
Publishing

Going live is one button, and always reversible.

Straight to your hosting

Connect your hosting once with FTP. After that, Publish to my website updates the live site directly.

See what will change

Before anything goes live, you can see which pages changed. Only those files are uploaded.

Undo any version

A backup is kept before every publish. Go back to an earlier version whenever you need to.

Your team

Let the right people change the right things.

Invite colleagues and decide what each can do: edit content, change search settings, or publish. Every change shows who made it and when.
