Who I am
I am Ahmed, the founder of LayerAdapt and, today, the only person behind it. I decide what it does, I test it on real websites, and I read every message sent to support. When you write to LayerAdapt, you are writing to me.
Why LayerAdapt exists
I kept seeing the same thing. A business pays to have a website built. It looks good. Then the prices change, a service is added, the team grows, and every one of those changes means opening the code or waiting for a developer. Small edits take days and cost money, so the website slowly goes out of date.
The same is true inside many businesses: years of orders, customers or stock sit in a database that only a developer can open, while the team works from spreadsheets.
The problem I want to solve
Most tools fix this by asking you to start again: a new website builder, a new system, a migration. That is expensive and risky, and you lose what already works. LayerAdapt takes the opposite approach. It keeps the website and the database you already have, and adds a layer on top that lets ordinary people run them.
Where it is going
My aim is simple to say and hard to build: no business should need to edit code to change its own website or work with its own data. Every text, picture, list and blog post managed from simple screens, with the design untouched. Every business database turned into lists, forms, dashboards and approvals your team can actually use.
Why you can trust it, and what I will not claim
- Early access is deliberately small. I am opening LayerAdapt to 250 businesses first and approving them one at a time, so each one gets proper help. That is a limit of being a team of one, and I would rather say so.
- No payment before launch. Early access is free. You see the plans before launch and decide then.
- Built to be careful. A backup before every publish, protected files that are never edited, passwords stored encrypted, and every change recorded. The security page and the data handling page explain exactly what happens.
- You can leave. A website prepared by LayerAdapt keeps working on your own hosting if you stop using it.
- No big promises. No online service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure or never fail, and I will not pretend LayerAdapt is. LayerAdapt is new. Some kinds of websites are not supported yet, and I will tell you if yours is one of them before you rely on it.
